Our pastor grew up in a works-based, sacramental religion that left him guilty, empty, and longing for the promise of forgiveness and eternal life. When he heard the gospel for the first time, he knew that this was the answer. Pastor Johnson repented of his sin and his false beliefs and received Jesus Christ as his Saviour. He was forgiven that day. Since then he has since enjoyed the blessings of the Lord in many different ways. He and his wife, Sally, have been married thirty-three years and have four daughters. The Johnson family has had many opportunities for service in a number of places, as Pastor Johnson answered the call of God to preach the Bible and was ordained into ministry by the Lincoln Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas. Like the apostle Paul, Pastor Johnson says, “By the grace of God I am what I am.” His heart's desire is to get people into the Bible and let them see for themselves what the Lord has said concerning sin, salvation, and eternity, that they might be joyfully saved and go on to serve the Lord Jesus.
